Margaret Lon-Britton, of Astute Realty LLC, based in Knoxville, TN, is a 7 year veteran of the real estate industry and has represented clients all over Knoxville Metropolitan Area and beyond. Margaret has built a solid foundation of clients in this community through her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to always provide services focused on understanding each client’s individual circumstances and meeting their needs.

Why I’m Different

Margaret obtained her MBA degree from the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business and afterward worked in a number of industries including market research, high tech, health and beauty and finally international imports.  In the often challenging time of buying or selling a house, Margaret is passionate about minimizing stress and maximizing her buyer clients’ purchasing power and her sellers clients’ net proceeds. She has continued to leverage her know-how and experience to exceed her client’s expectations.

My Personal Time

Active in the community, Margaret is a proud member of Knox Heritage’s effort of “preserving, restoring and transforming historic places” in and around Knoxville. She is also an active participant in her own neighborhood, Historic Old North Knoxville, where she is part of the Social Committee and enjoys volunteering at annual events including the Victorian Holiday Home Tour.

In her free time, Margaret is an avid reader, thrift store treasure seeker, crafter and traveler. Nurturing relationships and spending time together with her friends and young son as well as her four demanding pets is never something Margaret takes for granted. “How did I get so lucky?”

Meet Kristi Dunlap, Owner/Broker

As a University of Tennessee graduate, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. The specialized attention to detail required in both fields has contributed greatly to my real estate career, where I specialize in the sale of new and existing homes in the Knoxville and surrounding areas. I have been a licensed REALTOR® for 22 years, with a broker’s license for 18 years. I also hold multiple licenses for insurance (property, casualty, life, health, and legal), and I am a licensed general contractor. I have worked hands‐on with people for many years because this is my passion.

Why I’m Different

With many years of experience working and helping people with some of the most important decisions they will make in their lifetime, I am known for outstanding client service and always being readily available. I offer high‐tech marketing techniques, as well as personal touches. I am a skilled negotiator, always putting my client’s best interests first and foremost. I strongly believe it is not only my duty to represent my clients to the best of my ability, but also to educate them throughout every step of the process. I strive to provide them with top‐notch information and market insight, promoting the best decisions possible. I am honest (sometimes telling clients things they might not want to hear), hard‐working and extremely knowledgeable about the real estate industry.

My Personal Time

I believe in giving my time. One of my passions is helping the homeless through a program called Family Promise. I, along with my children, have served as overnight hosts at various locations to families in need, providing shelter and cooked meals. I have also contributed to, and assisted with, fundraisers for this program and many others. I have lived in Knoxville for 27 years, and enjoy reading, playing tennis, exercising, art, antiques, and cooking.
